Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, direct answers about Intelligent Automation, working with your existing systems, implementation and support.
Understanding Intelligent Automation
Intelligent Automation is the practice of making business processes run with less manual effort by combining process improvement, workflow automation, system integration and, where it adds value, artificial intelligence. AI is one of the technologies involved, not a separate or competing approach. In practice, it means information moves between your systems without re-keying, routine steps such as approvals and reports happen automatically, and your team spends more time on work that needs judgement.
Finsera AI helps growing businesses get more from the technology they already use. We work in three areas: system integration and workflow automation, intelligent process automation, and operational reporting and intelligence. Our typical clients are established Singapore SMEs that run several business applications, such as CRM, ERP, accounting or HR systems, and still rely on manual work between them. For smaller teams that want ready-to-use help instead of a project, we also offer AI Employees, powered by Marblism. Finsera AI is operated by Finsera Consulting Pte. Ltd., based in Singapore.
Not necessarily, and we will tell you if it doesn't. Many operational problems, such as re-keying data between systems, chasing approvals or compiling recurring reports, are solved by better integration or straightforward workflow automation. AI earns its place where a process involves unstructured information or judgement, for example reading documents or classifying requests. We look at the business problem first and recommend AI only where it makes the process meaningfully better.
We start by diagnosing the actual problem instead of selling a predetermined solution. We are technology-independent, so our recommendations are based on what fits your business and existing systems, not on a particular platform. We match the size of the fix to the size of the problem. And our leadership combines enterprise automation experience with hands-on experience running a growing business, so we pay as much attention to adoption and outcomes as to the technology.
Working With Your Existing Systems
We work with widely used business applications, including Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot and Xero, as well as other CRM, ERP, accounting and HR systems. These are examples, not a fixed list. What is possible depends on how each system can be accessed, for instance through an API, built-in connectors or data exports, so we assess your specific setup before recommending an approach.
Usually not. Our starting point is to make better use of the systems you have already invested in, by connecting them and automating the work between them. Occasionally we find that a system cannot support what the business needs, or that a feature you already pay for could replace a manual workaround. If so, we will say so plainly and explain the options, but replacing software is not our default recommendation.
Good candidates are processes that are repetitive, follow clear rules, happen often and involve moving information between systems or people. Common examples include re-keying orders or customer details from one system into another, reconciling data, routing approvals, processing invoices and purchase orders, onboarding customers and preparing recurring management reports. Processes that change constantly or depend heavily on judgement are usually better simplified first, then automated in part.
This is common, and it does not rule automation out. Where a system has no modern integration options, there are often alternatives, such as scheduled data exports, database access or a small custom component that bridges the gap. Some systems do impose real limits, and occasionally the honest answer is that an integration is not worth its cost. We assess this early, so you know what is feasible before committing to a project.
Implementation, Cost & ROI
Every engagement follows four stages.
- 1Diagnose: we learn how the work is actually done today, including where time is lost and where errors occur.
- 2Define: we state plainly what the real problem is, even if it is smaller than expected.
- 3Design: we propose a right-sized solution built around your existing systems.
- 4Deploy: we implement it, train the people who will use it and stay involved afterwards.
It depends on the scope, the number of systems involved and how accessible they are. Automating a single process is a much smaller undertaking than a multi-system integration with reporting. After the discovery conversation and an initial assessment, we give you a timeline for your specific project. Where possible we deliver in stages, so you see working results early instead of waiting for one large release.
The discovery conversation is free. Beyond that, we do not publish fixed prices, because the cost depends on the scope, the systems involved and the complexity of the processes. Once we understand your situation, we provide a proposal setting out the work, the cost and what it is expected to achieve. You should also allow for any software licences or platform fees the solution requires, which we identify upfront.
It varies with how much manual work the process involves today, what that time costs and how much of it automation can realistically remove, so we do not promise a fixed return. The calculator on our homepage gives an illustrative estimate of the labour capacity spent on manual work. Freed-up time does not automatically become a cost saving. The value comes from what your team does with that time, along with fewer errors and faster turnaround.
Start with a free discovery conversation. Tell us which systems you use and where manual work or disconnected processes are slowing your team down, and we will explore what could be improved. There is no pitch deck and no obligation. You can reach us through the enquiry form on our homepage or by email at contact@finseraai.com.
Security, Reliability & Support
We treat security as part of the design, not an afterthought. In general, we ask only for the access a project needs, keep your data within your own systems wherever possible, and discuss how information will be handled before anything is built. Where AI is involved, we explain what data it would process and which service would process it. No system is free of risk, so we agree the appropriate safeguards with you for each project.
Automations depend on the systems they connect, so changes such as a software update or a renamed field can affect them. We design with this in mind, for example by including error handling and alerts so that problems are noticed instead of failing silently, and by documenting how each solution works. We cannot guarantee that an automation will never need attention, so we discuss how monitoring and fixes will be handled before go-live.
Yes. We train the people who will use and look after the solution, and we stay involved after go-live. The form this takes, whether a short handover period or continuing support, is agreed for each engagement according to what you need. We aim to leave your team able to run the solution day to day, without depending on us for routine changes.
